Woodlark Hotel

Illuminating Heritage: Woodlark Hotel Portland’s comprehensive electrical overhaul by Prairie Electric.

Project Summary

We took on all the electrical design-build work for full interior and exterior renovation for the new Woodlark Hotel.

The Woodlark Hotel is a new hotel in downtown Portland on Alder Street, created by combining two historic building: The Woodlark Building and Cornelius Building. The connection was primarily made with internal corridors.

Project scope included:

  • Design-build renovation
  • Pre-construction services
  • Design and electrical engineering
  • Full electrical build services
  • Turnover and utilities
  • City of Portland street lighting adds and upgrades
  • Complete new electrical service with complete distribution for both normal and emergency power

The end result is a beautiful, 150-key hotel, with full amenities including lobby/lounge area, full service restaurant, kitchen, bar, and meeting/event space.
